Office Buddies

John has been working at Comcast for 5 years.  He has made a lot of friends at the office, but Harry is his best buddy.  Both John and Harry work in the systems engineering department.  Elaine is their boss.  They moved into the new Comcast Technology Center when it first opened.

John and Harry are in their respective cubicles, which are right next to each other.

Today is Monday.

Harry:  Want to get some lunch?  I am starving already.  It's a little early...

John looks at the time displayed on his workstation.

John: I am slammed today but I really need a break.  Where do you want to go?

Harry:  Murphy's?

John:  Ok, that works.

John and Harry take the short walk over to Con Murphy's, which is an Irish Pub that has outdoor seating.  Perfect for a beautiful fall day.  They grab a table outside, and the waiter brings over the menus.

Harry:  I'm getting the fish and chips.  What about you?

John: Well, hmmm, I think today I'll get the Reuben.  Man, it's expensive here. We gotta find some cheaper places to eat.

Harry: Agreed.  Anyway, I still can't get over that Eagles game.

John: Yeah, that was a mess.  How do you lose to Washington?  There were so many inexplicable play calls, especially at the end of the game.

Harry: How'd you do in the office pool?  I got destroyed.

John: I did ok mostly but I won't win any money this week.  There were too many upsets.

The waiter brings two glasses of water and puts them on the table.

Waiter: May I take your order?
