Every lesson, grammar point, and idiom is written and taught in English first. When in doubt, trust the English — it's the language you're learning, and it's what our teachers stand behind.
Japanese is a helping hand
To make things easier to follow, much of the Japanese is AI-assisted and then reviewed by a real person over time. It's a bridge to the English, not a substitute for it — so an occasional rough edge is possible while review continues.
You can help make it better
Spot a Japanese translation that could be clearer or more natural? Signed-in learners can suggest a fix right on the page — look for the small pencil next to a Japanese heading. A teacher reviews every suggestion, and the good ones go live for everyone. It's a small way to help the whole community learn better.
