(1) 熟語 : Literally, to resume or try to resume breathing normally after a physically strenuous activity that results in heavy breathing.  Figuratively, to get to the point where one is caught up with their work and are able to pause and rest.

文字通り、激しい呼吸をもたらす身体的きつい活動の後に、通常の呼吸を再開または再開しようとすること。比喩的に言えば、自分の仕事に追いつき、一時停止して休むことができるようになること。
