The process that is followed by the US government whereby the Senate gives "Advice and Consent" to a presidential nomination for an executive or judicial position. Confirmation by the Senate allows the President to formally appoint the candidate to the court.
上院が行政または司法の地位のための大統領指名に「助言と同意」を与える米国政府が従うプロセス。上院による承認により、大統領は正式に候補者を法廷に任命することができます。
