A portion of a baseball game consisting of a turn at bat for each team. Each team bats in its half inning.  After both teams bat, the inning is complete.  In professional baseball, there are 9 innings per game. 
各(かく)チームの打席(だせき)で構成(こうせい)される野球(やきゅう)ゲームの回(かい)。各(かく)チームはハーフイニングでバットを打(う)ちます。両(りょう)チームがバットを打(う)った後(のち)、そのイニングは完了(かんりょう)です。プロ野球(やきゅう)では、1試合(しあい)あたり9イニングです。
