Voting by mail can be done by what is called an absentee ballot or mail-in ballot. But there is a lot of confusions and misinformation around these methods, which vary widely state by state. What's more, some people use these terms interchangeably, others mean different things by them, and yet others employ different words altogether.
郵送による投票は、不在者投票または郵便投票と呼ばれるもので行うことができます。しかし、この二つの方法には多くの混乱と誤報があり、州ごとに大きく異なります。さらに、これらの二つの用語を同じ意味で使用する人もいれば、異なる意味を持つ人もいるし、まったく異なる言葉を使用する人達もいます。
