Meet John Chestnut. He is single, and lives in a condo in the Penn's Landing neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He is 32 years old. 

Meet Marie Wiley. She is single, and lives in an apartment in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  She is 29 years old. Marie is ambitious, and knows what she wants.

John has been working at Comcast for 5 years.  He has made a lot of friends at the office, but Harry is his best buddy.  Both John and Harry work in the systems engineering department.

The summer before Marie was hired by Ballard Spahr, she spent the summer there as an intern.  Then, when she graduated from Penn law school, Marie was hired as an associate attorney. 

Harry invited John to come out for drinks with some of Harry's friends from college.  They arrive at the Franklin Bar on 18th St. at around 6pm, and Harry sees his crowd at a table towards the back of the bar. 

John and Harry meet at the office after the night out with Harry's friends. A management position is opening up, so is John interested?

Marie arrives at the office and sits down at her desk.  She has a meeting about her upcoming court case at 10am that will likely last most of the day. 

John and Marie had agreed to meet at The Dandelion, a British pub on 18th Street, at 6pm on Friday.  John arrives first, at about 5:45.  He finds an empty table, and sits down.

John and Marie share their date experience with their best friends. Is this the start of a real relationship? We shall see...

The first day of the trial has finally come.  Marie and her defense team, Bob Levinson and Ellis Burks, arrive at the courthouse.  Joey Lasso is waiting for them outside the courtroom.  Together they enter, and take their places at the front table on the right.

John has an interview today for the management position that Elaine is leaving. He thinks he is very prepared for whatever question comes up. WIll he nail it?

Brian Carter has made a decision that will alter the course of the trial. Was it a wise decision? Should this case have come to trial at all?

John's interview is over, and it went well. Will he get the job? Diane informs John of her decision. Hint - it's good news!

Alicia had set up a meeting with the Enterprise Engineering Services team to introduce John as their new manager for 10am in the Enterprise conference room. Diane will chair the meeting.

John and Marie have been dating for weeks.  John decided to splurge and invite Marie to dinner at Vetri Cucina, a very expensive Italian restaurant in the city.  John picked Marie up at 30th Street Station, and drove to the restaurant, which is on Spruce Street.
