John Chestnut is single, and lives in a condo in the Penn's Landing neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is 32 years old.
John graduated from Roman Catholic High School in 1997. He attended college at Drexel University in the city. He majored in computer systems engineering, and graduated in the spring of 2001.
After graduating from Drexel, John was hired by Comcast as a systems engineer.
John grew up mostly in the far northeast suburbs of Philadelphia in a small town called New Hope. New Hope is an idyllic village situated along the Delaware River.
When he was in high school, he was on both the varsity baseball and football teams. He excelled in math and science. His father urged him to study computers while John was still in high school. That was good advice.
John's parents still live in their home in New Hope. His father William works as a police detective for the local New Hope police force. His mother Margaret works as a customer service representative for a life insurance company. John has two brothers and one sister.
