Explanation
Use the present simple for habits and routines. It tells us what happens again and again, not only now.
For example, "She gets up at 7 every day." Here "She" is the subject, "gets up" is the verb, and "at 7 every day" tells us the routine time. In English, we add "-s" to the verb with "he," "she," or "it." Japanese often uses the same verb form for habits, so learners may forget this "-s."
習慣や日課を言うときは現在形を使います。今だけのことではなく、何度もくり返すことを表します。
たとえば "She gets up at 7 every day." では、"She" が主語、"gets up" が動詞、"at 7 every day" が日課の時間を表します。英語では "he" "she" "it" のとき、動詞に "-s" をつけます。日本語は習慣でも動詞の形があまり変わらないので、この "-s" を落としやすいです。
